MY HISTORY
I have learned over the years of photographing special moments in peoples life, whether that's a wedding, pregnancy, new born baby or a special occasions that there's something profoundly special about freezing a fleeting moment in someones life. Those everyday expressions, ,quiet connections, and bursts of joy become treasured memories that grow more meaningful with time. Having become a Mum myself now, I think this has shown me how a photo can simply melt and break your heart at the same time. It simply transports you back in time.
Photography has been a passion of mine
for many years.
Even after 12 years, hundreds of shoots...I am always learning, view finding and being creative. I love seeing so many happy people and freezing time on that happiness. Being able to capture this is one of the most wonderful things in this world and I am blessed to be able to call this my job. Becoming a Mum myself recently really made me realise how important it is to capture family and little ones. They will never be as little as they are today! Time passes so quickly, you literally blink and they've grown.
I think being able to look through photographs, look back on time is so special, and important to remember days gone by, it always brings joy, nostalgia and a smile.
A little more
about me.
CREATIVE ROOTS & PERSONAL JOYS
I’ve always been creative, I have always loved making things out of different mediums. But it was a sixth form that I really developed my love for photography. I have a degree in Interior Architecture and a masters in Project Management. After University, my heart took me back to capturing people when I started photographing weddings. After hundreds of weddings, when I fell pregnant, it was time for the pace of life to slow down a little, and capturing families has become a true passion of mine.
THE THINGS THAT MAKE ME, ME
I cherish spending time with my husband and our wonderful little boy, Lochie and our dog, Chief. We’re always dreaming of our next adventure; travelling and exploring new places truly feeds my soul. We love the mountains, country music, and the wild landscape of Canada, where some of our family live.
MY HAPPY PLACE
Over the last few years, we’ve slowly turned our house into a home. I love pulling together interiors, layering fabrics, choosing artwork and placing fresh flowers with intention. It’s our sanctuary. Photography, though, has held a huge place in my life for 12 years. I pour so much love into every shot, and seeing those images become cherished memories for others is something I’m truly proud of. Many of my clients have become friends and I hope that continues.
